2021 six indigenous scholarship sponsees
The Anne Marie Deruyttere Indigenous Peoples Foundation is happy to introduce the following six indigenous individuals as recipients for fellowships for the 2021 Institute of International and European Studies "Francisco de Vitoria" of University of King Carlos III in Madrid (UC3M) and the Intercultural Indigenous University (UII) of Fund for the Development of Indigenous Communities in Latin America and the Caribbean (FILAC). This is the second year we have been able to sponsor exceptional students. With your help, this will become an annual tradition. The individuals selected hail from six different countries--Peru, Honduras, Colombia, Panama, Guatemala, and Ecuador--and six different indigenous groups.

COMPREHENSIVE TRAINING
Create national public policies & influence global advocacy
Organized by the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, through the Instituto de Estudios Internacionales y Europeos "Francisco de Vitoria" in collaboration with FILAC, the main objective of this two-and-a-half-month program of Expert on Indigenous Peoples, Human Rights and International Cooperation is to offer comprehensive training, of high curricular and practical value, to professionals in any area of knowledge and indigenous leaders, so that they can assume leadership responsibilities, as well as acquire tools to participate fully and effectively in the design and creation of national public policies and influence global processes of advocacy.
